Present Activities First:

While retired from full-time employment, I am now fully engaged in the education of the general public and their elected officials on the specific topic of climate change.  So far, my activities have included the writing of numerous opinion pieces for several newspapers of Montana, Minnesota, and Washington and the teaching of short courses on climate change at Montana State University (Bozeman MT), Flathead Community College (Kalispell MT), Mesquite NV, St. George, Utah and presently at Spokane Community College (Spokane WA), and numerous public presentations in Montana, Minnesota, Washington, Idaho and Utah, and Nevada and the production of a book called, “Thoughts of a Scientist, Citizen,and Grandpa on Climate Change”.   This book, originally published in 2009, has recently been updated (May 2012) and is available at all major book outlets.

Perhaps most importantly, I now manage the blog included in this website.  It has been going now for about five years.
